The National Obesity Observatory: e-Atlas
The National Obesity Observatory has produced an obesity e-Atlas. The e-Atlas is an interactive mapping tool for the analysis of obesity.
The e-Atlas enables the user to compare a range of indicators, including the incidence of childhood obesity, using data from the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). This information can be matched to local area scores for deprivation and rates of physical activity.
The new National Obesity Observatory was formed to provide a single point of contact for information, evidence and practice relating to obesity, overweight, underweight and their determinants.
