Community safety

Community safety remains a top agenda item for both the public and councils. It affects the quality of life of people, communities and organisations.

People want to feel safe, which means not only reducing crime but also developing stronger, confident and more cohesive communities. This requires working in partnership both with local communities and other agencies.
