Bury Strategic Community Needs Assessment case study
Bury has recently been carrying out a joint strategic needs assessment as a requirement within health, public health and adult social care domains. The framework is moulded around:
- people as a top priority when commissioning
- understanding population needs
- sharing information in effective ways
- high quality assurance
- understanding the strong links between work, health and wellbeing
- developing incentives for commisioning for health
- local accountability
- capability and leadership
