Councillor development

LG Improvement and Development welcome all councillors to their own online community.  This one-stop shop is designed to help you keep abreast of the latest guidance, news and opinion.

Share ideas in our councillors' discussion forum and sign-up for our weekly email for the very latest from the world of local government.

We offer a full range of political leadership development programmes including training for new members, ward councillors, specific portfolio holders, black, Asian and minority ethnic councillors, and many more.
