Project management methods and guidance
PRINCE2 is often cited as the preferred project management method for the public sector. However, many local authorities have adapted the PRINCE2 method to meet the needs and the maturity of their own organisation when it comes to handling projects.
This section offers approaches that may be suitable for all sizes of organisation. It includes templates and guidance in addition to the description of the project methodology. They are based on local authorities’ real experiences of managing local government projects.
