Business case guidance
Description: This product defines four stages of good practice for management of an e-government business case. This could be for an individual project, programme or authority-wide transformation plan. The business case focuses on:
- why the initiative is required
- provides guidance on assessment and evaluation of the hard and soft benefits
- cites practical examples
The guidance identifies and outlines the essential questions to ask and statements to be made at each stage. The guidance is supported by case study material and references to a range of tools and techniques within the overall business case management framework.
