IDeA at the LGA Annual Conference 2009

The IDeA is running workshops throughout the Local Government Association (LGA) Group conference on topics including: the recession, efficiency and the local economy, healthy communities, leadership, local area agreements, worklessness, wellbeing, and the comprehensive area assessment.

The Culture Conference in partnership with Fenland District Council

This conference is aimed at senior managers in public sector organisations and will focus on excellence in service delivery through the ‘one team’ approach.

Building schools for the future and the 21st century school

Understanding strategic commissioning

This event is designed to help those operating in the sector to understand the concept and develop their skills in the process of commissioning. It is an IDeA event in partnership with the South West Regional Improvement Network.

Democratic Services Committee Administration
13 to 18 September 2009
The only national course of its kind for local government democratic services and committee staff. The course is in two parts: a short distance learning component followed by the week long residential course.

Accelerating cultural change: creating the right climate for future success

The IDeA is running this exciting and engaging masterclass to look at how chief executives can better understand the role culture change plays in ensuring the future success of the organisation.  It will be led by Dr Mee Yan Cheung Judge.

Operational Diversity – It’s how we do business
