This module has been developed by the National e-Procurement Project (NePP) in
conjunction with the IDeA to accompany the best practice advice and guidance published by the NePP. It covers the background to the introduction of e-procurement in the public sector, the benefits of e-procurement to both government and suppliers, and identifies steps that suppliers may need to take to give their business the best chance of securing contracts with local councils.
